The CBUSU is a not-for-profit organization that represents a strong community of approximately 7000+ students at CBU which includes different nationalities, races, and genders. The Cape Breton University Students’ Union advocates for a high-quality, fully accessible education system that recognizes students as the priority in the educational process. We are additionally committed to enhancing students’ lives by offering them various services, organizing engaging events, and more! We assist new and returning students to help them feel included, safe, and involved in the local community and accustom them to local culture, business, and people alike. Through our “CAPERS HELPING CAPERS” initiative we ensure we deliver back to the Cape Breton community through charitable acts and some monetary support.
Our team comprises 5 student executive members, (4) full-time staff, and 25+ student coordinators and assistants.
Together, we are all committed to working to offer services that help fulfill the diverse needs of the student body at Cape Breton University.
