Just as the University is governed by a Board of Governors, so too is your Students’ Union. This Board of Directors is known as the Students’ Representative Council (SRC). The Students’ Representative Council oversees all aspects of the Students’ Union. The Executive would not be able to represent the views of the entire student population and that is why they only make the day-to-day decisions. The Students’ Representative Council gives input, holds the Executive team accountable and provides a better representation of the entire student population. The SRC exists to provide fair, democratic representation for all students. Students elect council members during a general election and/or a by-election and are composed of the following 27 representatives: It is your right as a member of the Union to contribute to all matters about the work of the Students’ Union. Upon request, a printed copy of all SRC minutes is available to Students’ Union members at the CBUSU front desk. The members of SRC are -
