To celebrate the Festival of Lights, the CBUSU is hosting a Diwali Video Contest for our students to share their talents and creativity as well as get a chance to win attractive prizes!

We would love to see how our students are celebrating Diwali across the world and share it with the rest of the CBU Family! The winner of our contest will receive a $150 Gift card and two runners-up will receive $100 gift cards each. The last date for submission would be Monday, 16 November at 11:59 PM. Please go through the below pointers and don’t hesitate to reach out in case you have any queries!

* Students can post their videos either on Facebook OR Instagram, not both.

* Videos created must have a duration of 1 minute or less

* Students must use the hashtag #diwaliwithcbusu on their post

* Students need to ensure that their account and the post must be public and shareable.

* Contestants will be judged based on their creativity and how well they can incorporate the concept of Diwali as ‘The Festival of Lights’ in their video – house decorations, traditional food, songs, dances, traditional Indian attire are just a few examples of content ideas.

* Final Entries have the chance to be featured on our Social Media pages

* Contest open only for current CBU Students. Verification will be done.

* Contestants must adhere to local COVID-19 protocols
